EUREKA! Explorations

EUREKA's Explorers are active adults over 55 who are life-long learners. Join us for a day trip or an international adventure!

To register for any of our Explorations day trips, please log in to your dashboard account here, or email explorations@eurekasciencemuseum.org to register and pay via check.

New for 2026! To register for overnight trips with a lottery system, please fill out the associated form for each trip. A lottery system allows for equity in the registration process.

Refunds for Explorations trip reservations cancelled within two months of trip date are subject to non-refundable trip fees (such as tickets and reservations paid by EUREKA!) and standard processing fees that will be deducted from registration refund. Cancellations within one month of trip date will be made at 50% of trip cost, and cancellations within two weeks are non-refundable. Cancellation policy varies on trips with flights. See individual trip for details.

If EUREKA! must cancel a trip, full refunds will be processed.

Grand Junction Holiday Lights with Horse-Drawn Carriage (Log into dashboard to register)
Friday, December 12
5:30pm-8pm
Cost: $32 members/ $42 non-members

Experience the beauty of the holidays walking through the Western Colorado Botanical Garden's sparkling pathways covered in blue lights. Then we will ride in a private horse-drawn carriage through downtown Grand Junction's holiday lights on Main St. You will also hear a bit of history as we sip on hot cocoa.

Family members of explorers are welcome.
