EUREKA! has been leading after school programming in D51 schools for over a decade. Our programs have expanded to support out of school engagement and child care needs of Mesa County. After school programs include hand-on STEAM activities, school work support, structured recess time, in addition to healthy snacks.

2023-2024

EUREKA! After School Programs

Due to the generosity of grant funders, EUREKA! is able to host free/low cost after school programs at select D51 schools for 1st-5th graders. Select sites run Monday-Thursday and others Monday-Friday. More information on the Dashboard Event.

  • Tope Elementary (Sliding Scale Registration)
  • Chipeta Elementary (Free)
  • Clifton Elementary (Free)
  • Lincoln Orchard Mesa Elementary (Free)
  • New Emerson Elementary (Sliding Scale Registration)

Monday-Thursday Schedule:

  • 4:00PM - Dismissal from school
  • 4:05PM - Attendance and a healthy snack
  • 4:15PM - Activities and fresh air time
  • 5:15-5:30PM - Pick up

  • R-5 High School: Outdoor Program

EUREKA! intends to apply for cohort 11 of the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) grant for future funding of after school programs.
